WHY OVER 50, WHY ME, AND WHY NOW?

I'm 49. (That's me in the photo at left in the mauve & burgundy.) My next big birthday will be the big 5-0. It sounds like a big number, and I know I grow older with the passing of each year, but the thing is, I don't feel old. I'm starting to have too many grey hairs to consistently pull out, but I don't think I look old. Women 50+ like you make up nearly 20% of the U.S. population, and I'll be joining you very, very soon. I REFUSE to become invisible and forgotten!
